We serve widows, orphans, daily wage labourers, homeless individuals, elderly persons, disabled persons, low-income families, and students who cannot afford proper meals. Each meal costs just ₹59, meaning your Zakat can provide hundreds of meals to those who need them most.

Nisab — The Threshold for Zakat
Zakat becomes obligatory when a Muslim's wealth exceeds the Nisab threshold and a full lunar year has passed. The Nisab is calculated based on the value of 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver. As of the current rates, the silver Nisab is approximately ₹45,000, making it more accessible for many Muslims to participate in this blessed obligation.
The gold Nisab is approximately ₹6,50,000 based on prevailing gold prices. Many scholars recommend using the silver Nisab as the benchmark, as it allows more people to fulfil this obligation and maximises the benefit to those in need. For Fitrana (Zakat al-Fitr), which is a separate obligation, the amount is approximately ₹60 per person, given before Eid prayer.
