Daan Foundation believes that every donation given by supporters is a trust — an amanah — that must be used responsibly, honestly, and carefully to help people in need.

Since 2020, the foundation has continued serving vulnerable communities within India through food distribution, Community Kitchen services, Ramadan Iftar arrangements, ration support, clothing assistance, medical help, educational support, and welfare initiatives.

The foundation operates only within India and focuses entirely on helping local communities and families facing hardship.

Our Main Mission: Feeding the Hungry

Through its Community Kitchen and food support initiatives, the organization regularly distributes cooked meals and food assistance to laborers, poor families, elderly individuals, patients, travelers, and people struggling during difficult situations.

What started in 2020 as a small 15-day Ramadan food initiative gradually became a continuous humanitarian effort serving communities throughout the year.

Daan Foundation understands that donors place trust in the organization when they contribute through Zakat, Sadaqah, charity donations, food support, or community welfare contributions.

Like every organization involved in regular charitable work, certain operational and management expenses are necessary to continue activities effectively and consistently — including transportation, food preparation, packaging, volunteer coordination, communication, community outreach, and basic operational support.

The organization believes honesty and transparency are more important than unrealistic promises.
